Leo "Bud" ("whatever...") Johns, on keyboards!

Bud "Leotus" Johns plays keyboards in the band - and just about anything else he can get his hands on. In his cramped little home studio you might find pianos and synthesizers, computers, guitars - - and trombones and flutes and other assorted stuff that usually requires repair.

He's been in lots of bands over the years - here's a partial list of 'em!

"Leawood" Bud Johns took a year or two of piano lessons in Kansas City from Chris Schoonover (Karryn Allyson's mom) and Millietta Rendina. He quit as soon as he could. Bud later played Bone and Tuba in the Center High School Marching Band, and while at SMU in Dallas and in grad school at Kansas University he discovered analog synthesizers and began playing them professionally. In 2006, he started studying Jazz Piano with Roger Wilder.

Bud created and believes in an unusual philosophy called Reverent Chaos.
